Important Information About Our Hospital

We proudly serve pet families in Locust Grove, GA and surrounding communities with expert, full-service veterinary care. In addition to treating your pet, we are equally dedicated to being a trusted source of education for you, so you can keep your companion happy and healthy for as many years as possible.

Please review the information below to see what you can expect at your first appointment. If you have questions, call us at (770) 467-3140.

Our foremost goal is to help your pet stay healthy and current with all their vaccinations, tests, and parasite preventatives. We recommend annual physical exams, which are comprehensive and help us build a health history for your pet. The exam appointment also typically includes giving your pet their recommended booster shots.

At Woodland Animal Hospital, we believe it’s essential that we see your pet shortly after their adoption so we can get them started on a long, healthy life. This gives us the opportunity to meet you and your pet and get to know your circumstances, concerns, etc. Completing your paperwork ahead of time ensures we will have more time to speak with you in the exam room and discuss your pet’s needs.

If you are coming to us from a different vet, please bring your pet’s medical records and any other documentation to help us create a new chart.

Safety for all is our highest priority at Woodland Animal Hospital. To ensure your pet’s safety and that of our other patients and clients, we ask that you please bring your pet into our facility on a sturdy leash (no retractable leashes) or in a secure, appropriate pet carrier. It is natural for pets to feel uneasy when they visit the vet, especially for the first time, so it’s important to keep your loved one properly restrained.

Payment is required in full when services are rendered. Our hospital accepts cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We can also accept payments via CareCredit and Scratchpay.

Our veterinarians are qualified to treat dogs and cats.
