Bathing

At Woodland Animal Hospital, we offer soothing

pet baths

for dogs and cats. Although we love them dirty paws and all, sometimes our pets need a little freshening up. You no longer have to put yourself through the stress of bathing your pet by yourself—we’ve got you covered.

TRY OUR CAT AND DOG BATHING SERVICES

If not for your own benefit, do it for your pet! Chances are, he or she isn’t particularly fond of you bathing him or her either. At Woodland Animal Hospital, we proudly offer our pet bathing services to Henry County’s canine and feline friends so you don’t have to bathe them at home.

Bathing at home can lead to shampoo in your pet’s eyes or too-hot or too-cold temperatures. Also, bathtubs are slippery under pets’ paws without a mat and can lead to panic. And failing to dry an animal’s coat thoroughly can cause body temperature to plummet. Our trained dog and cat bathers know the best way to calm your pet to give him or her a more pampered experience. Baths should be relaxing after all, shouldn’t they?

While typically cats have all the tools they need to stay clean, sometimes curiosity can lead to a sticky, smelly coat. When this happens, it may be in your best interest to hand your frisky feline over to us for bath time. We know the best time to bathe cats is when they are their most mellow. We’re able to soothe your cat with a variety of shampoos so the process isn’t traumatic for him or her; in fact, it will be quick and easy.

It happens to all dog parents: our pooch goes for a romp in the mud, gets sprayed by a skunk or finds something rotten to roll in. These sometimes-horrifying events come with the territory of owning and loving a dog. When this happens, relieve yourself of the responsibility that dirties your bathtub—and yourself—for the sake of cleaning your dog. At Woodland Animal Hospital, we have the best equipment and the most friendly trained professionals to make your dog’s coat like new.

Also, if you are boarding with us, all that playtime can lead to some seriously unkempt fur. We are happy to offer our cat and dog bathing services while your pet stays with us so you have a coat of fresh fur to pet or hug at pickup time.

Our basic grooming services don’t end at baths. While Woodland Animal Hospital is not a full-service doggie salon, we also offer nail trimming, ear cleaning, anal gland expressions and medicated baths if necessary. If a little clean up is what you need, we are here for you and your pet!
